Compliance with standards

This website has been designed and programmed according to the guidelines of the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative, www.w3.org/wai), which sets the international standards to create website contents accessible to everyone.

Keyboard shortcuts

The majority of browsers support direct access to specific links by clicking on certain combinations of keys (access keys) defined on the website.

The different browsers have different keys to activate the shortcuts, as follows: ALT + access key in Internet Explorer for Windows. Shift + ALT + access key in Firefox for Windows. Shift + Esc + access key in Opera for Windows or Mac. CTRL + access key in Internet Explorer 5.2 for Mac, Safari 1.2 (only in Mac), Firefox for Mac, Mozilla for Mac and Netscape 6+ for Mac.

The following access keys are available on our portal:

  • 0 Accessibility
  • 1 Home Page
  • 2 Skip browsing
  • 3 Site map
  • 4 Search
  • 8 Legal notice
  • 9 Contact

Accessibility guidelines

Different measures have been taken to make the website more accessible, including: on-screen items presented in a logical order. Simplified browsing system and drop-down menus not used. Descriptive text of the images. Access to the main options using the keyboard.

Links

The majority of links whose text does not fully describe their destination have title attributes providing clarification. Whenever possible, the links are written in such a way that they can be understood out of context. Some browsers (such as JAWS, Home Page Reader, Lynx and Opera) can extract the list of links from the current page and allow the user to browse from the list. Taking this into account, links are not duplicated and where they are, it is because they access the same content. There are no Javascript pseudo-links. All the links can be followed in any browser, even if Javascript is disabled.
